Halloween Configurations Book – Part II

Hello, Internet!

To continue with my Tim Holtz Configurations Book, I started out on the inside cover with a clear image of what I wanted it to look like. This was the one part of the project I knew I wanted to go a certain way. I had a clear picture of what I wanted this to look like. The rest of the project was still up in the air.

The first thing I did was remove the little boxes and put them in a basket for safe keeping.

Using acrylic black paint, I covered the inside of the box completely. Black is so easy to work with.

I took a piece of paper from the Halloween paper pack I used for this card and stuck it down.

I used my Tim Holtz distress tool and went around the edges of the paper. I tore the paper to make it look more roughed up and edged it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I found the little sign at my local dollar store and the spiders are table scatters I found at Hobby Lobby. The sign had a ribbon that I removed. I used my glue gun to stick down the sign and glossy accents to hold the spiders in place and called it done. I am very pleased with the results.
