3 x 3 cards, Cardmaking

Frankie Card

Hello, Crafty Internet!

Happy Halloween!

Today I am sharing a little 3 x 3 card I created with a small stamp set I recently purchased from PaperWishes. They had a special bundle sale where they sold a lot of small stamp sets. If you’ve read the blog before, you know I like to make little 3 x 3 cards and this stamp bundle was perfect! This was part of a Monday Madness special, I think, and unfortunately, the bundle is no longer available. However, you might still be able to find the stamp set.

I started with the cutest stamp set in the bundle. This stamp set is titled Halloween Monster, by Hot Off the Press. This is my first time using any of their products.

The card ingredients are simple. The card came together really quick.

I stamped the image on the white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I colored the images using Copic markers and colored some extra candy corn images to fussy cut and pop up to make the pile a little fuller on the card.

I used some foam tape to attach the panel to the card base and since Frankenstein’s Monster seemed to be floating in the air, I used my black Copic marker to draw some lines to help ground him.

I thought this card turned out nice and just in time for Halloween!

3 x 3 cards are some of my favorite cards to make. They make it easy to use the smaller stamp images that may get lost in bigger projects and they usually come together very quickly and simply. They are great to attach to gifts or to give as just a little note of encouragement.

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by!
